It seems to be so many names for them: white briefs, tighty whities (or tighty whiteys), skivvies, y-fronts, underwear, pants (in the UK)…. so, what do YOU call them?

in west canada lots of us call briefs “gotch”

I agree with Alex: I like to call the underpants, because it’s a little bit embarrassing: especially when you’re in white briefs in front of guys in boxers or boxer briefs. But I like tighty-whities and underwear too.
My mon & dad raised me as a Hanes underpants boy later
changing brands to JCPenney underpants however my dad
wore Jockey brand and they were called Jockey-shorts.
